Focus on the Family Colorado Springs

On Tuesday May 28, Anne and Mama took the four youngest to Focus on the Family headquarters. (The boys and Papa were off on a high adventure hike with Cousin Dave)

The lobby welcome center had several displays, including a plaque emphasizing the value of children.

Above is the latest update of our Out West Trip. It covers what we did on our second day in Colorado.

Salina Kansas to Colorado

We arrived in Salina Kansas at a Hampton Inn on Saturday night, May 25, 2013.

Our sign for the room had a cowboy hat.

The boys swam in the pool until they were politely asked to leave because it was closing time.

Joseph posed with what is claimed to be the largest easel in the world in Goodland Kansas.

Gambino's Pizza in Goodland was our lunch stop.

Apphia very daintily forked her pizza.

That afternoon we entered "Colorful Colorado."

This episode chronicles our most recent adventures on our Out West Trip.

Today we loaded all 11 of us into two "trams" and clicked our way up to the top of the Gateway Arch. The weather was perfect for looking out over the country/city. There is a museum under the Arch. We could have spent hours looking at all the exhibits about westward expansion.
