Salina Kansas to Colorado

We arrived in Salina Kansas at a Hampton Inn on Saturday night, May 25, 2013.

Our sign for the room had a cowboy hat.

The boys swam in the pool until they were politely asked to leave because it was closing time. 

 Joseph posed with what is claimed to be the largest easel in the world in Goodland Kansas.

Gambino's Pizza in Goodland was our lunch stop.

Apphia very daintily forked her pizza.

That afternoon we entered "Colorful Colorado."

St. Louis!

 Today we loaded all 11 of us into two "trams" and clicked our way up to the top of the Gateway Arch. The weather was perfect for looking out over the country/city. There is a museum under the Arch. We could have spent hours looking at all the exhibits about westward expansion.
